Ready to uncover flaws in your floor plan design? Get in contact with us to hear more.
-
To start we need a CAD file of your floor plan (dwg, or similar).
Further we’d like to know the location of the building, orientation, points of interest within the floorplan (like kitchenettes, phone booths, etc.)
To complete an assessment which spots are best for what team and to test for needed vs. available qualities, we’d like to know how teams are located within the office layout and a rough outline of their tasks and work styles.
-
You will get precise insights on qualitative and quantitative properties of your floor plan. These insights can be used to verify if a current design meets the needs of your team. For instance: The amount of desks that support focused work vs. the amount needed for your team to work well.
Further we check for potential weaknesses in designs, like distracting long views, blocked pathways, lack of privacy for hangout spaces.
-
Both options are possible and have advantages.
While the floorplan analysis looks for general qualities and quantities, combining it with the team analysis gives you insights that are more specific for your own team memebers.
Sometimes companies prefer to do only the floorplan analysis first for it’s the faster option especially since no personal data is inquired.
-
The floorplan analysis can be used to compare different realties for their spatial properties. It’s a perfect way to make an informed decision and not get blinded from flashy real estate presentations or gut feelings.
-
All our analyses are taylor-made to give you all the information you need for your specific goal. Right now we can run over 20 different analyses which cover the most pressing issues of modern workplaces.
If there is something specific you want to find out about your floor plan and we don’t already have a standardized evaluation script ready, we are happy to create it for you.

If you did changes to your layout, then yes, it makes sense to repeat the floor plan analysis to see if it brings the wanted effects. The better option however is to do the analysis before a new fit-out to test the impact of alterations beforehand.
